Basic dry rub for pulled pork

This is our basic dry rub that we use all the time. It has all the usual suspects to get perfect-tasting pulled pork. It works great on spare ribs too.

A good dry rub contains a combination of sweet and savoury ingredients. To make the dry rub, mix all ingredients together. It doesn’t get any harder.

This is what the dry rub looks like after cooking it low and slow on a pork neck that you can change to pulled pork shortly after. The smell alone makes you happy. If you want to know how to make pulled pork, we can explain it to you in great detail.
